Whitney Wentz, DDS
Dr. Whitney Wentz was born and raised in Pine Level, NC. She earned her Bachelor of Science and master’s degrees from East Carolina University. She then attended dental school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Whitney and her husband are proud alumni of ECU, sharing a love for attending sporting events and cheering on the Pirates. They also have two wonderful daughters, Charlotte and Rachel Mae.
Dr. Whitney loves the beach, traveling, and Jesus. She is a small-town girl and feels so excited to be back living and working in the community where she grew up.

Justin Barbaro, DDS
Dr. Justin Barbaro, originally from Fayetteville, NC, spent his formative years just down the road. Growing up as one of 5 boys, dentistry was a prevailing theme in his family. With his father and brother, Colin, both being esteemed dentists, one could say that the dental profession runs in his blood. He attended both college and dental school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also met his wife, Callie, while attending school in Chapel Hill. For all these reasons and many more, the Tar Heels will always hold a special place in his heart. Callie and Justin have three beautiful children: Cameron, Charlotte, and James.
Dr. Justin Barbaro: “Though every patient is different, my philosophy is always the same: I don’t treat teeth; I treat people. I do my best to treat every patient just like a member of my family, with compassion, respect, and a gentle touch. I also believe that we have a responsibility to both our patients and our profession to be lifelong learners. The field of dentistry continues to evolve and progress, and we are obligated as dental providers to do the same. I have a passion for learning and have sought to satisfy my hunger for knowledge through my participation in countless continuing education courses and my involvement in numerous professional organizations.”
